Healing here from a major fall for a 52 year old chick...nothing broken but three blown out disks and was either vertical or horizontal for the last four weeks.
Glad to be back and lots of catching up to do.
This bored is what I missed most...

Speak of the devil--Murray and I were just talking about you yesterday, wondering where you've been, and I said I was going to send you an e-mail this week to make sure everything was okay. Sorry to hear about your fall; hope you heal well and quickly. Glad to see you back here. It wasn't the same without you.

Thanks so much...you can't be offline very long around here...too much fun and so much has happened.
4 weeks today and doing much better..I can now sit in a chair and drive. Watch out world....

sorry to hear about your fall, but glad you are mending! take it easy for awhile
i fell and crushed my ankle a couple of weeks after JF 08, so i know how you're feeling (what's up with all this - we are WAY too young to be falling, aren't we)
this past weekend, i went on a trip with friends and one of them fell while walking on a grassy sloped area (i'm sure the margaritas had nothing to do with it)
the next morning, IBROCKN fell while getting into the shower.
luckily, no one was injured in either incident.

I know what you mean. I was gone for a week and lost total track. Glad you're doing better!!!!!!!! I'm still 52 until October.
Big hug to you girl...I was starting to worry since I hadn't heard from you in awhile. Ya know blenders travel so I'm always up for that girl hang. Quick healing pretty lady.

yup, we've reached the age where breaking a hip is no longer funny. so falling not good. i confess i havent been real chatty lately - must be because you were missing.
but 4 weeks is the standard 'rehab' stay....:rolleyes:
hope you're mending just fine - and making all those kids do the house chores.

Sorry to hear about your fall, (((belle))). Back pain SUCKS (not that you didn't know that). I'm glad you're feeling better and more glad that you're able to get around a bit. Keep mending and don't push yourself too much.

Belle, so sorry to hear of your mishap! :( Falls are a significant contributor to the mortality rate in the over 40 age group. Sandy Denny, of Fairport Convention, and designer Laura Ashley both died as the result of falls in their homes.

Broken wrist is much mo betta and the back is tolerable with Motrin. Working like half time and feels like full time. But went dancing with Old Crow Medicine show in Charlottesville last Sunday and did really well. Took two days off to rest ahead of time but the bootie still moves to the grove.
Life is still great, sore but each week gets a bit better. Love ya guys and feel the Threadhead Karma is working. Docs say I am doing better than expected but then again they don't know our secret for healing here.;)
