Just watching this documentary about the Ali-Foreman fight in Zaire in 74 on Sundance Channel. Besides being a great documentary that won an Oscar and Sundance, it has awesome music. I had no idea that there was so much music associated with the fight. James Brown, BB King and others. Great movie, cool insight into the times, all surrounded by great music. Going to be back on 2/27, catch it if you can.

Oh, and btw, if you happen to like boxing on top of great music, it is amazing!

That's a fabulous documentary! I even like the song "When we were Kings" by Brian McKnight and Diana King...

I don't think many kids today realize just how powerful JB and Ali were back in the day. They were considered two of the "most dangerous men in America" for their overwhelming influence on African American culture. It has been argued that had either of them decided to use their powers for "evil" rather than good, there would have been a full-scale revolt/revolution in the US back then...
