www.restaurant.com is having a half price sale and they've added several new restaurants in new orleans. One is the Oceana Grill that bought Petunia's recipes. Another is Chef Austin's creole kitchen and there's even one for willie mae's scotch house! The fiorellas coupon has changed. The ones we bought last year were 25 off 35 and now they are 25 off 50. I'm guessing there will be an even better sale in the near future. They've had 60, 70 and 80 percent off in recent months.

Has anyone eaten at Chef Austin's? I read some reviews that were not very flattering.
I have never eaten at Fiorella's either - are there 2 Of them and if so is there a difference? I remember Jen writing about one of them in the past when it reopened?

On the satchmo thread, swag reminds us that the zipcodes found a restaurant on conti that serves fiorella chicken. The original location is on decatur. That's where they take the coupon. There's an entrance on the french market side and one on the decatur side. The jamns and i ate there in june. seefood, msirish, jada, celtic kimbeaux and mightyrad made an appearance too. We were all in the quarter for the zachary richard show and the trifesta. Anyway, we had homemade potato chips with a sprinkling of feta that were delish. We also had spaghetti with meatball and red sauce, chicken parmesan, and the seafood platter. We all loved our food. The fried chicken is really, really good. I've had their mashed taters which were flavorless and their mac and cheese did not pass the cheesy test. We had their fried pickles once and they were enough for 5 or 6 peeps. When I was there this spriing, a man next to us really quizzed the waitress about roast beef poboy. She said it was definitely deli meat. He passed and went for the giant meatball with spaghetti.
