Baby Weimeraner. His name is Tab, after my favorite musician. That was my stepdaughter's idea. She likes him too.

Yes, I wanted to post my 14 week Sheltie but have no idea how to do it. From what I see, it only lets you post pics that are already online.

Mariena - how did you post the pic??? I would love to add a photo of my four month old golden Rouxfus - also, your puppy is adorable - re: what to do with him when you come to jazz fest - do some research re: indoor-outdoor kennels - in the New Orleans area (on the Northshore), there is a fabulous kennel that keeps the dogs in huge kennels that have in-door and out-door areas and they have playtimes and if you want you can pay extra to have extra play times - its a little more costly than the normal kennel, but well worth it....there might be something like that in your area (oh, these types of kennels generally book up in advance, so be sure to start looking now.....)

This picture is downloaded in my pictures file of my computer. Then I went to the site called photobucket.com on the internet. It is really easy. You sign up as a member (it is free). Then it gives you the option to upload the picture from your my pictures file to your photobucket file. It will tell you how to do it. You just select upload button and it automatically looks in your my pictures folder. Then select the picture that you want to display and it should have a URL address out beside the picture. Just right click and copy this address, then come back to the thread that you want to post to. Once you have started a new thread or even a reply to another thread, you select the yellow symbol at the top of the message thread. (it looks like an envelope but says insert image when you hover over this symbol). This will bring up a box that prompts you for your URL address. Just paste that URL address into this box and send your thread reply or new message and the picture is there. This may sound complicated, but it really is not. Good luck.

It is easy. Look at the instructions that I typed for MGB. You can do it too.
It only took me a few minutes to figure it out.

I didn't think about kennels. I may have to check into that. Also, my 13 year old niece wants to keep him, but her mother isn't to sure about that.

I remember the first time we left our dog Baxter for jazz fest - a 4 year old black pug (his b-day is saturday) - we felt guilty and all that. Now I am convinced he just wants to get his little paws on some of that crawfish bread!

Okay, i used to get all kinds of slack, but until i had to put Barkley my 15 year old golden retriever down last spring, i ALWAYS referred to him as The Puppy - it was just the disposition he had.....an update on my 4 month old golden Rouxfus, he is a total hunter, he caught a RAT a couple of weeks ago (that had snuck into the house) and yesterday he got a bird in the back yard (i'm not quite as happy about that)....my project for the weekend is to get pics of Barkley and Rouxfus posted on this thread....

How funny, I always wanted a black lab named Barkley. But, instead, got a Sheltie which my daughter named Molly.

BTW, when I encounter dogs on the street, I always tell the owners "what a beautiful puppy", especially with the big dogs.

I agree - "puppy" is always apllicable, no matter what the size or age.

Really when you think of it, domestic dogs are animals that we kept from developing past "puppy" stage in the wild. They remain puppies forever.

Dobies are wonderful! We became friends with a guy who used to walk his dogs in the same field as us. He had this HUGE mean looking dobie, who kind of ruined his rep because he kept his squeaky baby doll in his mouth at all times. It was adorable.

And his sidekick was this tiny Italian Greyhound who bossed him around.

What a great pair!
