You know, what this place needs is some 4 Roses to sprinkle on the floor for mojo, maybe a large spleef of ganga to color the atmosphere, 4 or 5 boxes of old mardi gras beads for decoration and that little guy that lives in the cooler at the Fairgrounds chanting his mantra just for fun!

Festy, can we eventual divide the main forum into sub forums? I can't think of titles off the top of my head, but a subforum to ask questions about fest, one for general fest chatter, one for music in general and maybe even an offical Threadhead Bar forum.

It may already be in the plans but thoughtI'd mention it. It'd make it a lot easier to navigate.

See the little blue push pin at the top that keeps the thread from ever falling Lis? Those are stickies, they pin certain threads to the top so they stay there (Welcome and Intros).

In this type of forum, keeps the thread at the top, no matter if anyone posts to it or not. It "sticks" to the top! :)

I have had to make some changes for both the Avitars and the profile pictures. They are now both active but you will have to link to the file as opposed to uploading it the the jazz fest server. It is safer for us if the files are just linked. The same is true for images in messages. I believe the "attachment" option is gone but the ability to include an image still exists even though I personally haven't tried. If you already uploaded a profile picture it is still active.

You guys can experiment and see if photobucket.com images or flickr or some other free hosting sites images work when linked.

Hopefully this will be ok.

Compared to alot of people on these boards my posting recorded is nothing either... see haven't even been back since the last post.... but my how it starts to multiply as the fever increases and it gets close to April.

Actually... just finished watching "A Love Song for Bobby Long" and the spirit of the blues carried me right to this web site and all those that hunger for our New Orleans... (I can be so dramatic really).
